But The Television May Be Revolutionized, Or "I Like To Watch"

It has well been said that "the revolution will not be televised", but with the internet it may now be possible for the “television” to be revolutionized. If you doubt that, check out the video links in the "Red Pill Guide" section of this blog.



The genius of Gandhi's peaceful revolution in India was that all he asked the people to do was “nothing”—a general strike that paralyzed the British colonial government. After a couple centuries of colonization, the Indians' culture had become much less confrontational so a conventional revolution was very unlikely to succeed. The general strike allowed everyone to make their point with almost no face-to-face confrontation. Gandhi took what might have been considered a weakness to a classical revolutionary strategist and turned it into a strength.



Today, in western cultures, “doing nothing” is practically synonymous with watching TV, an activity that comes quite easily for (too) many people. But what if we could borrow a page from Gandhi's playbook and make watching “television” (aka "doing nothing") a revolutionary act?



I submit that by circulating links to many of the videos all of us have been watching and advocating, we enable our friends and relatives to play a part in remaking society by simply watching. Films and documentaries like Zeitgeist, Terrorstorm, Disclosure Project, Loose Change, Evidence of Revision produce a revolutionary change in thinking. Eventually, as goes the mind, so goes the body and daily actions. It is my hope that we'll soon reach a critical mass and begin to move from eduction into action—by actively changing our patterns of living to avoid cooperating with injustice and to cooperate more completely with the natural world while, simultaneously preserving and enhancing appropriate technology.

Indeed, as we change our thinking, these changes will become inevitable.

The Logic of C.S. Lewis's Professor Kirke -- "There are only three possibilities."

Never underestimate people's strength and persistence in their ability to resist new information. If you're like me, you've probably had any number of exasperating experiences trying to convince someone you know that something they've been conditioned to dismiss as a mere "conspiracy theory" is, in fact, true. You may feel that, of all characters in ancient Greek literature, Cassandra is the nearest and dearest to your own heart.

Finding truly open and logical people is rare and worthy of celebration, even if, as in this case, they're fictional.

I'd just like to say, for the record, that one person I'd like on my investigating team, even though he's fictional, is professor Kirke in C.S. Lewis's novel, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", the first book in the author's "Chronicles of Narnia" series.

In this story, set in England during World War II, a family sends their four children to live with a professor in the countryside for their safety. Lucy, the youngest of the siblings, discovers a separate reality called Narnia when, during a game of hide-and-seek, she walks out the back of a large wooden wardrobe and discovers a snow-covered woodlands where she meets a faun who receives her as his guest for tea. Upon her return to the wardrobe and the professor's house, she describes her experience to her brothers and sisters, but, of course, they don't believe her because when they look in the wardrobe, there's nothing unusual.

Later, her brother Edmund, the second youngest, also finds the snow-covered woodlands and happens to meet a Queen who is quite fascinated to find a human child in her realm and pumps him for information while plying him with sweets. Edmund tells Lucy of his experience and she's much relieved to have validation of her experience, but when the older siblings ask about it, Edmund claims both he and Lucy were only pretending and that Narnia exists only in their imaginations. Lucy is crushed and won't speak to her siblings. The older siblings are concerned about Lucy's insistence that her experience was real and decide to consult the professor about it.

Read the following passage while keeping in mind the many real-life down-the-rabbit-hole and through-the-looking-glass scenarios we "truthers" are discovering to be true in our real-life research. I think you'll agree Professor Kirke is a treat with his straightforward and refreshing perspective. After all, if someone's not lying and they're not mad, then the only other possibility is they're telling the truth, right? Ah, would that life were so simple. Enjoy!

... the Professor said "Come in," and got up and found chairs for them and said he was quite at their disposal. Then he sat listening to them with the tips of his fingers pressed together and never interrupting, till they had finished the whole story. After that he said nothing for quite a long time. Then he cleared his throat and said the last thing either of them expected:

"How do you know," he asked, "that your sister's story is not true?"

"Oh, but -" began Susan, and then stopped. Anyone could see from the old man's face that he was perfectly serious. Then Susan pulled herself together and said, "But Edmund said they had only been pretending."

"That is a point," said the Professor, "which certainly deserves consideration; very careful consideration. For instance - if you will excuse me for asking the question - does your experience lead you to regard your brother or your sister as the more reliable? I mean, which is the more truthful?"

"That's just the funny thing about it, sir," said Peter. "Up till now, I'd have said Lucy every time."

"And what do you think, my dear?" said the Professor, turning to Susan.

"Well," said Susan, "in general, I'd say the same as Peter, but this couldn't be true - all this about the wood and the Faun."

"That is more than I know," said the Professor, "and a charge of lying against someone whom you have always found truthful is a very serious thing; a very serious thing indeed."

"We were afraid it mightn't even be lying," said Susan; "we thought there might be something wrong with Lucy."

"Madness, you mean?" said the Professor quite coolly. "Oh, you can make your minds easy about that. One has only to look at her and talk to her to see that she is not mad."

"But then," said Susan, and stopped. She had never dreamed that a grown-up would talk like the Professor and didn't know what to think.

"Logic!" said the Professor half to himself. "Why don't they teach logic at these schools? There are only three possibilities. Either your sister is telling lies, or she is mad, or she is telling the truth. You know she doesn't tell lies and it is obvious that she is not mad For the moment then and unless any further evidence turns up, we must assume that she is telling the truth."

Susan looked at him very hard and was quite sure from the expression on his face that he was not making fun of them.

"But how could it be true, sir?" said Peter.

"Why do you say that?" asked the Professor.

"Well, for one thing," said Peter, "if it was true why doesn't everyone find this country every time they go to the wardrobe? I mean, there was nothing there when we looked; even Lucy didn't pretend there was."

"What has that to do with it?" said the Professor.

"Well, sir, if things are real, they're there all the time."

"Are they?" said the Professor; and Peter didn't know quite what to say.

"But there was no time," said Susan. "Lucy had no time to have gone anywhere, even if there was such a place. She came running after us the very moment we were out of the room. It was less than minute, and she pretended to have been away for hours."

"That is the very thing that makes her story so likely to be true," said the Professor. "If there really is a door in this house that leads to some other world (and I should warn you that this is a very strange house, and even I know very little about it) - if, I say, she had got into another world, I should not be at all surprised to find that the other world had a separate time of its own; so that however long you stay there it would never take up any of our time. On the other hand, I don't think many girls of her age would invent that idea for themselves. If she had been pretending, she would have hidden for a reasonable time before coming out and telling her story."

"But do you really mean, sir," said Peter, "that there could be other worlds - all over the place, just round the corner - like that?"

"Nothing is more probable," said the Professor, taking off his spectacles and beginning to polish them, while he muttered to himself, "I wonder what they do teach them at these schools."

Many years ago, I shelved all my research on paranormal and conspiracy subjects because, at that time, we relied almost solely on books for this kind of information and when only the author's words are available, it's too easy to give suspicions that the author is lying (or insane) too much credence. With the advent of the internet, we're now able to go listen to author's talks and interviews. In many cases, their honesty and sanity are far too compelling to leave any room for doubts about their testimony, and that leaves only the third possibility-- that they're telling the truth.

Where, In Truth, Does One Start?

As Many Paths in Truth as People

The paths to truth are numerous. Most of us in the "Truth Movement" got started from personal experience. Something happened to us that is not supposed to happen, according to the conventional view of reality.

Maybe we bumped into corruption in the workplace. Maybe we found, as soldiers, that the reality of war is absolutely nothing like what's in the news. Maybe we saw an election get stolen. Perhaps a UFO showed up one night. Maybe we saw that non-FDA-approved treatments worked very well for us.

Whatever it was, it made us realize that the truth is often actively hidden in our modern world and we need to really dig to get to it. We became thirsty for truth and as we pursued it, one thing led to another and soon a whole panorama of hidden truths opened up to us.

It Takes a Community of Voices to Overcome Denial

The problem is that, at some point, we naturally want to tell others about the exciting, shocking, alarming and sometimes liberating truths we've discovered. To our surprise, people we always trusted, friends we were always close to, family members we've gotten through the most difficult hardships with and colleagues we've enjoyed mutual respect with for years-- they were not happy to hear about our discoveries.

They said they didn't want to discuss it. They looked at us like we were crazy. They suggested maybe we needed a vacation or medication. They distanced us. We became a "problem".

The biggest problem is that, when you are faced with 99 people telling you one thing and only one person telling you another, it's only natural to discount the one person in much the same way that scientists reviewing experimental data might discard a measurement that was completely out of the range of other results.  Proponents of a more conventional view of reality do an amazing job of silencing and marginalizing inconvenient truth-tellers and getting their own talking suits with good hair and/or ivy league credentials onto television to "stay on message", "deliver their talking points" and "catapult the propaganda out there".

So, a key and important strategy is to introduce your friends, family and/or colleagues directly to highly credible sources instead of trying to paraphrase or reiterate those sources to them.  No matter how good you are at summarizing, what you can provide will always be second hand.  Send your friends articles and links on a regular basis, giving them time to read and reflect in between.  Then ask them what they thought.  Adapt your pace and subject matter to their feedback.

Over time, they should gradually come to know names and faces like Chris Hedges, John Pilger, Greg Palast, Dr. Rima Laibow, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Dr. Russell Blaylock, David Griffin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Thom Hartman, Gary Null, Dylan Avery, Cynthia McKinney, Bev Harris, Gregg Braden and too many others to list here.  As you and your friends become more accustomed to these worthy voices, they become a contextual community-of-truth to support and reinforce your research and discovery process.

 

The Power of Your Story

Just because it's better to refer your friends to original sources for scientific and historical information, doesn't mean that you don't have a big contribution to make to their process. The way that most people process new information is quite different from what is widely supposed.  While facts, logic and rational deduction are often sufficient for minor information that fits into someone's existing understanding of reality, when the information is "big" or challenges their current understanding of reality-- when it threatens their current paradigm-- something much more basic is necessary.

If you just tell someone "I know that the AMA, ADA and FDA are frauds because of the following facts-- blah blah blah", you probably won't get through.  Although we have excellent rational deductive arguments for our positions, that's just not really how people are persuaded.  They've probably looked to these agencies as caretakers of public health for most of their lives. They literally "have no place" to put the information you're offering them.

For most people, logic and facts are fine, but secondary for major new information. Where paradigm-shattering truths are concerned, the first thing someone really wants to know is not why you're convinced of a certain truth, but, more basically, what was your journey, beginning from a point as close as possible to their own experience, and proceeding, step by step, to your present "position". They want to know "where you're coming from". They want to know if they "can get there from here". There are doubtless many aspects of spatial learning that I'm unaware of, as I'm writing this, that tie into this technique of persuasion. Nonetheless, it appears obvious that our brains are wired, as a lowest common denominator, for journeys. Journeys might be as simple as showing up at fruit trees at the right time of year or complex like Homer's Odyssey, or Kubrick's "2001".

The most basic unit of thought originated around campfires aeons ago-- the story.  The story, complete with a beginning, a middle, and an end, endowed with a protagonist, challenge, struggle and outcome is a far, far more natural way for people to receive new information.  They might go back later and buttress their new beliefs with logic and deductive reasoning, but first they need a persuasive story to understand where they're going and why. The rational details about "how" come later.

Returning to our example about the AMA, ADA and FDA, imagine telling your friend a story like this:

"About five years ago, I thought the government and big medical organizations existed to protect the public and to ensure quality care, much as you do today.  Then I got cancer and my prognosis was terminal.  A friend introduced me to the Gerson treatment.  I went to Mexico because even though the treatment consists entirely of legal foods, it's illegal to talk about its beneficial effects in the U.S. because of persecution by the FDA.  In Mexico, I met many people who were cured by this regimen and within 4 months of starting the diet and practices, I went for my check-up and was cancer free."

Of course, you'd embellish it with more personal details, but isn't that much more engaging and thought-provoking that making a flat statement that these agencies are frauds because of a bunch of scientists who disagree?

This kind of narrative is much more effective than statistics.  While these narratives are derided in academic circles because they're "anecdotal" and "unscientific", the very fact that the organizations that are supposed to exist to benefit us have not made a penny available to statistically study these techniques after fifty years in spiite of hundreds or thousands of full recoveries is really quite damning. In the case of the Kennedy assassination, the simple fact that the papers related to the investigation are still classified until 2070 is damning. In the case of the events of 9/11, the fact that the investigation was stonewalled for nearly a year is, again, rather damning. All the myriad details tend to obscure these simple indicators. Your story's power comes, in part, from the simple fact that it is one person's authentic experience.

Your own story is unique and far more persuasive, as a story, to your friends and family than any expert testimony could be. Your own story probably began, not by reading an article in a magazine, but more likely from some form of jolt to your life-- a health problem, a near-death experience, some form of government or business corruption crossing your path. I could be wrong about that-- you may have exceptional intellectual gifts that allowed you to realize truths in a new paradigm without such a jolt. I think it's safe to say, however, that most peoples' transformations from a more conventional paradigm to a "truth movement" paradigm began with a jolt of some kind. Jolts are often painful and remembering them and talking about them is difficult. It makes you vulnerable. It can reopen old wounds that haven't really healed. In some cases, your story might be used against you. But, your story is the most important thing you can offer to your friends and family to help them see through the lies that surround us.

As the native american Manitonquat put it, "No one was ever like you in all the universe, and there will never be another one like you again. Therefore only you have your special gift, and you are the only one who can give it away. You will not feel right, will not fulfill your purpose until you give it away. The rest of us need to receive your gift and hear your story."[1]

 

Guideline: Start with Health-Related Truths

While each person's path is different and presents different "targets of opportunity", so to speak, with regard to what subjects to introduce them to when events in their own lives are informed and reinforced by the knowledge you lead them to, there are some general guidelines that are good to keep in mind.

One does not think well when intoxicated.

As we've learned, conventional systems in our society are poisoning us with a variety of toxins.  These impair our ability to think and learn.  Therefore, it is well to put reduction and/or elimination of toxins among the first "truther" topics that you raise with your friends and family.  Among these topics are fluoridated water, aspartame, toxic additives in processed foods, destructive medicines and air pollution.  This guideline has multiple synergistic and positive results:

1. Most of this information is immediately actionable at an individual level which gives your friends and family a sense of empowerment, unlike other topics that can only be remedied by high level government decision makers.  Putting a water filter on your tap water is much easier and immediately rewarding than fighting city hall to stop putting fluoride in the water in the first place.

2. Your friends and family will feel healthier and think more clearly, providing them direct experience reinforcing the truth of the information you've provided.

3. By providing this information to your friends and family, you are directly communicating your love for them and concern for their well-being.  This is, of course, a good thing in itself, but the icing on the cake is that you will be even more trusted and your opinions and suggestions will be given even more weight going forward.

4. As it dawns on your friends and family that you've provided simple and truthful information, they may begin to wonder why nobody ever told them this information before.  Why wasn't this on the news?  Why weren't they taught this in school?  Why are the powers-that-be not pursuing this information and acting to provide healthy alternatives to the status quo?  Suffice it to say, the emergence of these questions makes further progress much, much easier.

Guideline: Media Distortion-- How, When, Who and Why?

Next, you'll want to choose topics in current events or retrospective anniversaries of current events (such as 9/11) to help your friends and family become aware of the extent to which media has been compromised.  Save the reasons for the compromise until later.  Focus on the discrepancy between reality and what is reported.  Repeat as often as is needed.  This is a difficult part for most people to grasp.  You are gradually proving to them that the sources they've relied on and trusted for most of their lives are, in fact, untrustworthy and unreliable.  

I doubt that there is any alternative to almost endless repetition on the theme of discrepancies between actual and reported reality, because there has to be a sufficient accumulation of examples not only to drive home the point that discrepancies occur, but that they occur regularly, that they are not mistakes but policy and that there are discernible patterns to these discrepancies that relate directly to the structure of behind-the-scenes power in the modern world.  I don't believe you can just tell people the answers to these questions.  All you can do is help them to ask the question, over and over until they begin to figure out the answers themselves.

Once your friends seem to fully grasp that power regularly influences media to cover up what they choose to hide, to distort enemies' public images, bolster their friends' and fabricate lies useful to their agenda, you can begin to talk about some of the power structures—the military industrial complex with it's imperative to make war for profit, the CIA and NSA, the Council on Foreign relations and its heavy influence on reporting, Bilderbergers, Rothschilds, Illuminati, Masons and other groups, but only after they have seen discrepancies and have begun to wonder what the unseen forces behind the news are that create the distortions.

Guideline: Balancing Dark Conspiracy and Light Spiritual Truths

About this time, your friends and family make begin to become fearful or depressed as the full impact of this knowledge hits them. This is a delicate time. I find it extremely helpful to let them know, at this point, that the powers-that-be have not only been hiding information that could be damaging to them if known, but they have ALSO been hiding information that could be empowering to the rest of us, if known.

I am speaking here of the compelling information that is now available that speaks to the infinite nature of the human essence—our spiritual dimension, our transcendent potential powers of consciousness, and the possibility of influencing the world with our thoughts as per quantum physics. It is important to know that our essential spirit continues after death, that there are many, many inhabited planets in the universe, that we have the potential to focus energies in our bodies that are unknown to present science, to heal diseases with our minds, to see and even influence people and places at a distance.

Forgive me if I'm getting too far outside the box by mentioning these possibilities. It's not important whether you agree with all of them now, but it helps to understand that some of them are real and these light-spiritual truths can do much to balance and offset the dark-conspiracy truths such as assassinations and false flag operations. People are best able to take effective action when their outlook is in between complacency and despondency—not too comfortable and not to depressed. We live in exciting times! Knowledge of our spiritual nature is a game-changer that the powers that be probably cannot handle. It may be the factor that turns the tide, so keep in mind the importance of balancing light and dark information so your friends and family can stay on the path to truth that works for them.

Perhaps, the Star Wars movie was not about a time all that long ago or a place nearly so far away. Jedi knights up against an evil "Empire" makes a power allegory, but I wonder how close to reality the symbolism might be.

This guide is the result of over ten years of research I've done in my own process of “waking up” to hidden truths. The topics are generally considered taboo. While my curiosity compelled me to go forward, it was difficult work and I hope this guide will make “waking up” easier for you and other readers. As Newton put it, “If I have seen further [than others] it is only by standing on the shoulders of giants.” Many whose work I cite below gave their lifetimes and even their lives to gift us this information. I hope they will not always be as unsung in their heroism as they presently are.

The real world today bears little to no resemblance to the world we've been told about by mainstream media and conventional education. Most of us inhabit an illusion-world-- working, eating, breathing, and going through the motions of modern life as if sleep-walking. We interact within a consensus-reality “dream” that, in fact, has never existed and we're unsure what to do when our somnambulant limbs bump into the hard actual reality we can't even see. It's time for us all to WAKE UP to our actual reality, before we sleep walk off the roof and it's too late.

Our situation is dire and it's vitally important that we now re-examine our current world-views in light of new information, long suppressed, that is available to all of us, thanks to the radically equalizing medium of the internet. New legislation is already targeting internet freedoms and net neutrality, so please study the following issues now, while it is still possible.

The Shackled Press

In a plutonomy, the media still publishes what the market wants, but while you are the consumer of media, you are not the customer any more than a steer in a feedlot is the master of his diet. Alternative Energy Solutions Suppressed

As it turns out, cold fusion is real and reproducible at least 25% of the time. It should be funded, debugged and developed, but it represents a potentially decentralized technology. Valid science has been suppressed, advocates have died mysteriously. In some cases, national security gag orders are issued to prevent technology from going public. There have been many scientists working on ways to make efficient use of the free energy all around us— heat, wind, sunlight, electromagnetism, even zero-point energy. Why haven't these technologies reached the market? I don't know. In some cases, they might have been hoaxes. In some cases, they might not be cost-effective. But in some cases, it appears that untimely deaths have been the deciding factor. Global Warming / Climate Change

People can argue until the cows bake to dust about this issue, but maybe doing the right thing doesn't require us to know with absolute certainty whether human activities are causing the observed warming. I don't know which side of this debate I'll eventually land on, but I do favor a transition to decentralized, alternative sustainable energy as soon as possible for several reasons including economic (trade balance), political (big oil clout), security (an advantage of decentralization) and environmental (coal mercury, oil spills). I also think it's the height of hypocrisy and entitlement for the "first world" to insist that only first worlders have the right to use fossil fuels going into the future. So, below is the best information I've found on both sides of the issue. If it turns out that global warming is human-caused, I'm not sure that belongs on the "Top 20 Secrets" list, but if not?

Mind Control

At the end of WWII, the USA imported many top German scientists under “Operation Paperclip”. About half were rocket scientists (aviation/aerospace) and the other half, more secret, were MK (“Mind Kontrol”) psychiatric researchers. In affiliation with the CIA, these scientists developed “PDH” (Pain/Drugs/Hypnosis) technology to fracture subjects' personalities into specialized, compartmentalized human “robots” for purposes of assassination, classified information and drug transport, sex slavery, super soldiers and other missions requiring the utmost in endurance, information secrecy, containment and deniability.

Consciousness is Everything (and Vice Versa)

This is something each individual has to experiment with for themselves, but a number of disciplines and practices ranging from ancient vedic literature to quantum physics, from meditation and prayer to intentional manifestation, to name a few, are coming together around concepts that are beginning to link actual physical reality to our thoughts and consciousness in a feedback loop where our consciousness is not merely influenced by reality as we perceive it, but reality is, in turn, influenced by our thoughts.

There are many other important and related issues, but I believe they are best left for later due to less supporting information or the fact that they build on the above issues. The above issues, if researched, should give one a reasonably complete picture of the challenges ahead. Please let me know if you find even better resources for these issues than the ones I've listed above.

Since the real world is so different from the misinformation we've been given by media and conventional education, most of our current efforts are somewhat misdirected. At this point, there is almost nothing more important than immediately researching and confirming all of above facts for yourself. It is only when you correctly perceive the world you're in that you can respond to it appropriately. Also, as the truth of the above points becomes apparent to you, please pass the information on to your friends, family and anyone else you can persuade to listen. You may also want to ask people you trust to help you research and evaluate these issues. But hurry, we are in serious trouble and the time for action is very soon.
